    Baked corn pudding

    1 - 15 oz. can creamed corn
    1 - 15to25 oz whole kernel corn
    1 stick butter, softened
    1 8.5 oz. pkg. corn bfread mix
    1 - 8oz container sour cream - optional
    Preheat oven to 350 F/ Put butter in 2 qt. casserole and
    melt in oven.
    Mix creamed corn, kernal corn, corn muffin mix and sour cream well and pour into casserole. Bake approx. 30 minutes uncovered.

    You can also crush l pkg. butter flavored crackers and spred on top.

    What do you do with the butter?? Does it go into the batter or on top of the mxture??

    Oooops, sorry - you just melt it in the bottom and then pour the rest on top of it. That's all.

    none on top - melt the whole thing in the bottom of the casserole.
    You can sautee the crackers in some more butter if you want to when you add them on top.
    I guess the melted butter on the bottom serves as a "grease the bottom of the pan...." ha
