Pot Cheese and Noodles

1 lb cooked medium shells/pasta
1 or 2 pints of pot cheese or cottage cheese that has been placed in a sieve for 10-15 minutes to remove some liquid.
1 stick of butter
salt and pepper
Cook pasta/noodles- drain- do not rinse
add butter to coat the pasta/noodles
add the pot cheese or cottage cheese
mixing well so that the cheese is well distributed
season to taste. Serve hot. This also reheats well.
I have added cooked peas (frozen not canned) to this with good results. chopped chives as well.

I had never heard this term before, pot cheese. Oh, the funny things that my head thought of for possibilities!
