I have used Gutermann's and recently got some egyptian cotton long staple from Connecting Threads. Nice colors, little lint and my machine likes it. Going to try a cone size and see if it does well...

The pattern and size has to dictate the needs. That said ... my practice is ... if I see a fabric I just love, I buy twice what i think I need and if I see one I love that is on closeout, I buy all...

I don't know anybody that wears them ... Fons & Porter sell the "klutz glove" and I think that is why they wear it on the show. To get us to want/buy them.
