    Gannyrosie, glad you are back!

I have to agree with your assessment of this site. Every time they have switched to a new host, it gets worse and we lose features we have come to depend on (like feedback). The way to post pictures is so ridiculous that many can't do it.

    Welcome back Grannierose!
The things I can do on a computer, I can’t on my phone. Really, why can I not post photos directly from my phone. But no! I must sent to computer and save and then post. Ugh!!
anyway , remember you are still younger than many!

Yup, technology is a challenge. Our site is not the easiest to manage but I suspect that part of the problems are do to the site trying to protect the members from "creepy" people who want in invade our happy quilting group. We see enough weird postings even with all of the attempts to keep us free of unwanted lurkers and advertisers who want to take advantage of our big hearts and willingness to help others. It annoys me too, but change keeps us growing. Right?

Glad to have you back GR and keep celebrating early with your new computer.

reading comments about the weather, I am just praying for rain, not a hurricane, just some rain. I love to be outside working in the yard and garden, but this year it has just been too hot and the veggies just couldn't take it. Worst crop ever.

We got rain today! It's a long, soaking rain! We haven't had a rain like this for about 7 weeks. It's been so hot all of August that everything burned up. Even with watering, many plants and trees have died. So this cooler weather and rain is really a Godsend! So thankful!

It’s been a harsh summer in so many places. I’m happy your area got rain. Btw, love the RWE quote in your signature. Seems sometimes people forget that, or never realize it in the first place.

Sewbiz, glad y'all got a good soak. Yup trees are dying, ground has large cracks, and the price for our water in nola is expensive. I my water consumption amt is 13.00, by the time they add all the bs charges, the amt due is $80.00. So it's not worth watering and having a $200.00+ bill.
    recvd another gift yesterday.
    Thanks .......Happylab
