Not trying to be ugly here but the stuff in the can is crap paint and it is made by Dupli-Color. The pigment is okay I suppose but their paint is a really crappy lacquer base and the Clears are some sort of industrial enamel and is far from glossy.

Found the camera (just where I'd put it) so I'll attempt to load some pics of MM room and machines. I didn't get a pic of my model 15 Diamond made in Occupied Japan, Elvira, my light green 15-185 or my Davis yet. Hope I'm not posting too many pics.

Wow Billy those machines are gorgeous! A question, what did you refinish the table on the 24 with? And after redoing the little table, can you still read what was inscribed on that table? My Wilcox & Gibbs little table is really in bad shape and I wondered if I get it re-chromed would those patented dates, etc., show?

WOW Weedwoman I am so jealous of your wonderful collection. I really want a 99 hand crank.

Love the collection, especially the little Majestic! I also really like the way you are displaying your FW's! Mine are all still in their cases put away!

    Nancy

It has been so much fun sewing all the machines and where they are kept -- love the machine parade! Monica, I may have to try and arrange some of my treadles the way you do - in the 'U' to make them more accessible! I also need a shelf to put my FW's on and some of my treasurers like my T No 3 and 99's!

    Weedwoman,

That is some collection! I like your arrangement of FWs with your black 301, cute!
I also like your quilts behind your 306k, very nice. And your Sewmor in the red cabinet with the black chair is adorable with the Mickey Mouse on the back of the chair, nice touch with your MM collection. Thanks for sharing!

Plus, you have the largest MM collection I have ever seen. I knew someone once that stated her entire house had her collection, but I never got to see her home.

    Billy,

That pink machine is very pink! It reminds me of pepto bismol color. For me that is the wake-me-up color. That machine needs a special cabinet. I love the Rootbeer color, and your car is beautiful!

    The mystery machine.

While looking last night on CL, I saw this post. I sent an email asking for information on the machine and treadle. The response back was that it has 6 drawers. I was like- yeah like no duh, I can see that. Geez, sometimes I wonder if folks really wish to sell their items. Well, I'm looking for a treadle cabinet for my Two Spools.

I will post a photo of just machine.

Does anyone know what type of treadle cabinet this may be?

So, after some research, I think the cabinet is the one seen with an Elgin machine, and that could be an Elgin, which is really a Free. The cabinet looks like a Mission style.

    vintagemotif,
Those treadle irons look just like mine, they are for an Elgin treadle and made by the Free company.
My set powers my Singer 15-90 treadle, its got a top from a Singer coffin top(the original Singer irons had a bad pitman rod).
