I have some fabric left over from my #10 boom. I am liking what I have gotten back so I need more to make a bigger quilt. Will try and get my F8 cut real soon. I need to finish getting binding on a big wall hanging for my sis. Everyone have a Blessed Thanksgiving.

I do love getting squishies in the mail too but I also love getting one huge squishie with lots to look at.
Well, I got an entire bolt on sale for 80% off and knew it HAD to be my boom fabric. Easy fabric requests (blues and whites) and I'm going to keep it for a summer quilt for myself. I've been student teaching since August and ironing/cutting is so relaxing compared to grading tests and planning geometry lessons.

You can post or not post pix as you'd like. Some will want to and some will want to be surprised. I hope you'll do whatever you like. Someone suggested at least posting them in an album so those who want to look can peek.

I love seeing the pictures and they are an inspiration. I guess if we get them all at once then we could take a picture of the whole thing.

I'll be off the board until late Friday but will check in again on Saturday. I hope you all have a lovely Thanksgiving!

I know that I mentioned this before for other Booms, but I really believe posting pictures directly on the board will create more interest and keep people inspired (or encourage someone hasn't joined a Boom to try it later). I know when I first started and was looking through the Swaps I was caught by all the pictures. At that time hardly anyone did albums and I don't think people take the time to check out albums - just my opinion . Happy Thanksgiving to all.

We use to post a pic when we received our finished block, why don't we post as we sew each one? That way we can all see what the others are making for each person and it's something to look forward to when we finally receive.

Plus it gives others ideas for their unmade blocks!

Ok I'm whipping out pictures! This is the fabric I'm sending. It's from Clothworks and is from the 'Blue Morning' line. I put a note in with it for whites and blues only.

Like the print Kelly, did you say if you want the soft blues or brights? I'd automatically do soft unless you said. Haven't decided on mine yet, think I will do like I did for the last one and go weird print. But the quilt turned out pretty awesome looking and I love it. Way out of my normal choices.
