This is a great block, I haven't seen this one before. Nicely done. I can't wait to get these back, to see them in person.

Jaba I have found a few sites I really like for Essential oils and have done a lot of trial and error. Several that are essential in my box of oils are Tea Tree, Lavender and Thieves. But like Janice said you have to take everything with a grain of salt and remember to use them.

vikkim, a couple more great blocks,

Well, I'm one who overlooked the no blue request for MJPEncinitas. I pm'd her and she graciously told me to send what I had made without changing it. I've already remade her block using the exact purple that's in her focus fabric. My camera makes it look dark blue, but I promise it's purple.
Janice, would you please remove the other picture for MJP and replace it with this one? Sorry for causing you extra work.
MJP, I hope this one is more like what you requested. And thank you for your kind offer, but I want it to be something you can use. Now, if I could just learn to take a straight picture! LOL

i didn’t know some boomers don’t like appliqué. I hope all of you who I did appliqué for are ok with it. If you don’t like applique private message me. I will make sure your block is pieced. If I’ve already made you an applique I can make a 2nd pieced block for you if I have enough fabric left.
mjp, I am fine with applique and embroidery. I just love to see all the creativity.

That being said, I've discovered a number of blocks in the Gallery that while lovely, do not conform to the fabric requests. While some may be design choices, I suspect they were simple misunderstandings. You see colors in the F8 and either do not read the requests or misinterpret them. I discovered this with Kassaundra's blocks when I began hers earlier this week. If you haven't yet made a block for Kassaundra, please be careful. She's asking for her fabric, white and/or grey, and one feather color. If you've made a block already and you've followed those colors, or if you've contacted her directly and rec'd her go ahead, you are golden. If not, you may consider changing it. It is up to you.

Please read and reread the color requests. It's important if you wish your blocks to be used. If there is anyone who has an issue with the blocks they've seen, please let me know privately. You cannot count on me to discover it as I did with Kassaundra's. Once blocks are mailed to me, there is nothing I can do. And, I can only request that blocks be altered. I cannot make someone do something they do not wish to do, as it is ultimately their choice.
I am one of those who misunderstood the color request for Kass's Block, Sorry. I do have some fabric left over and will make a second block in her color request. I promise to pay closer attention with the rest of the little notes sent with the fabrics. No worries, Thank you all for keeping us on track. And thank you Janice for being a great host.
