    Had to Goo--e that one --and am pasting this;

    "Pennies from Heaven" is a 1936 American popular song with music by Arthur Johnston and words by Johnny Burke. It was introduced by Bing Crosby in the 1936 film of the same name. It was recorded in the same year by Billie Holiday and afterwards performed by Louis Armstrong, Tony Bennett, Clark Terry, Frances Langford, Arthur Tracy, Big Joe Turner, Frank Sinatra, Stan Getz, Dean Martin, Skrewdriver, Gene Ammons, The Skyliners (a major hit in 1960), Louis Prima, Legion of Mary, Guy Mitchell, and many other jazz and popular singers.

    So don't know who you remember singing it ? I am guessing Bing Crosby !!

    It was Neil Diamond---don't remember the name---but it has "Solitary Man" on it. I think I was 9 or 10 at the time, so it was the very early 70's.

    Not sure but it was probably either a Monkees album or Osmonds.

    I'm going to date myself here. My first 45 was "O Happy Day" don't remember who sang it, but before that I bought 78's Every Tony Bennett and Johnny Ray record I could get my hands on. Tony Bennett just turned 85 this week and I'm still listening to his CD's
