I stated making doll clothes for my cats when I was about 8 or 9 years old. I didn't play with dolls but I had well dressed cats. My Gram would let me dress them up for about half hour each day. Then in junior high I started making most of my own clothes. I made my wedding dress, also have sewed for other weddings. Even did motorcycle, snowmobile and boat seats. I just enjoy sewing. Quilts are my favorite now days.

I enjoy many different kinds of sewing projects/gifts. I began sewing when I was a child on my mother's treadle sewing machine. In high school, I made some of my clothes and later, my daughter's clothes and a sport coat for my husband (never again). I have not quilted in awhile and am now making some stocking stuffers for Christmas. Love sewing!

I sew custom bedding for Duxiana stores ( http://www.duxiana.com/us_en/locate_duxiana.shtml ) all over the country. Bedskirts, duvet covers, sheets, pillow shams and cases. The stores ship the customer's fabric to me, pay me to make the items, and pay the return shipping.

I started sewing when I was 13, had three daughters and sewed for them (dresses, formals, bridesmaid dresses) and have made two wedding gowns, curtains, bedspreads, pillows, halloween costumes. Now I will do simple mending but started quilting in 2000 and that is all I do for the most part.

I do all of kinds of sewing since I was 7 years in 4-H. Started quilting when I was 16 or so. Now that I have grandchildren, I do them each a summer outfit and planning on a fall-winter outfits soon. There is some super fall colors for corderoy right now. I've done wedding attire and I have done "western shirts since I was about 15. I can make them for about $25-$30 vs $60. in a western store. I've had cowboys from Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska to the Dakota's wearing my shirts.

I started out hand sewing when I was too young to use the sewing machine. Then at around age 9 I started on the machine, creating doll clothes. I made most of my own clothes in my Jr High and High School years. I am fairly new to quilting (since 2005), but I am truly addicted :)

I do. I am also a costumier and I work on special projects for others. Although my husband does most of the sewing for our business, I will occasionally sit down and blindstitch our custom wetsuits and drysuits. At least enough to keep my practice up.

I still like sewing clothes and making little bags for make-up.
