I made it out alive! Hadto quit for tonight. Hubby wants snacks for the New Years. It is DANG cold in that room. I even have a quilt rapped around me right now, cause, I can't warm up...did some organizing. Some sorting, some tossing...Main thing that I did accomplish is to get all the sample fabrics from son's ex-fiancee(she worked at a high end furniture store) put into a bin and put where it belongs. I had to empty shopping bags and a small bin and just plain find all of those discontinued samples...If you have a source for it, it's terrific. They make great pillow backs, could be quilts...even lots of silks...

    Hi Watterstride,

I organized my stuff a few months ago and I still end up with a pile to file or projects that just need something done to finish them up. I was wondering what the pattern was on your post. I am looking for a quilt pattern with some white in it and that would fit the bill...Thanks! Cindy

Interesting to me that I have to clean up my sewing room before starting a new project. By the time I get that done, sewing time for the day is gone.

Crikey ladies - When I first started reading this thread I thought my room was untidy - but after looking at your pics I have taken another look at my room and I obviously am seriously lacking in necessary equipment, nic-nacs and fabric.

Even though I now consider my room to be more of an "after" rather than a "before", I am need of storage and organisation tips, so I will be following your progress with a great deal of interest.
