I also would be in favor of cutting it up. I would cut it down the middle (or maybe off center) of each white stripe and add a strip of something else from end to end, then do it again horizontally, just picking a spot in the middle of your rectangular blocks. Would still be a grid, but I'm envisioning almost a plaid. Of course, it is fine just the way it is so you could just finish it up and send it along it's way.

I like it just like it is. However, you could always add a border as you have lots of colors to chose from.

Your quilt is striking just the way it is! Why not just do heavy quilting in the vertical white areas, and stid on the squares?

Like it like it is....but if you added a fine line vine as suggested or a fine line straight strip in middle of outside white...maybe blue to match in quilt already there.

I don't think it really needs anything else. The lines are like food should be: simple, but good, and elegantly served. If you feel it needs something else, put on a couple of narrow borders to frame your masterpiece, do an all-over quilting pattern, bind it, and present it as a gift to be cherished.

You could cut it diagonally in forths turn them all and reattach, cut it like you woud a disappearing 9 patch and turn 2 opposing corners, could you turn it into a twister quilt? Jan in Va has a really interesting idea with her cut idea and inserting maybe a contrasting or coordinating print.

You could quilt masculine motifs in blues on the white, sports balls and motifs, or cars and trucks, stuff like that.

Be sure to show us what you decide

I like the quilt as is, I would quilt it with blue or red thread.

I like it as is. The only thing I could think of was winding leaves (same as the vine suggested above). I also like Jan in VA's suggestion (I'd call it lightning bolt).
