The Singers 99 and Spartan(192) are basically the same machine, the Spartan was the bargain model with no light and housed in a plastic base; same size as the 99.

That is one gorgeous machine! Check out all the room under the arm. I wish modern machines had the height that that one does, would make machine quilting so much easier.

I will be getting the green Royal this week. We just could not connect over the weekend. I found out that there is no top to the case. But that just means it will have to be on continual display, green is my favorite color anyway. :-)
