People are also apt to be here at different times 'cause we're in so many time zones! Me, I'm a night owl... but when I go to bed at 3am, it's 6 in New England!

I wake up all night long, and that is when I read - eventually puts me back to sleep. And my turning the light on and reading does not bother the dog that sleeps with me. DH sleeps in the next room!!! LOL

I would think Heaven would be getting up at 7-8AM, I'm retiring in June and will have to go back to bed, Hubby will still be working. I get up now about 4;45A Tues. and 5:45 other 4 DAYS. On weekends I stay up late.

OK, It's 4:15 am and where is everybody? Just took a look through the messages and now going to make myself a cup of tea and watch TV. I may fall asleep again for an hour or two. If I don't there is a dryer load of towels that need to be folded. I'm used to this routine and don't fight it any longer. May in Jersey

i generally dont sleep much at all...
DH is in the army and has to be up by 0400 and out the door b4 0500... Ive found my favorite times of day are late at night or super early in the morning...
I have noone asking me to find anything, or do something for them, or expecting me to cook lol.
I always say I love my family with all my heart at all times... but i love them a million times more when they are all sleeping lol
without the peaceful times id be bald and rocking in the corner somewhere lol

I'm usually up around 5 too. I love the quiet time.

Early morning sewing isn't a good idea here as my sewing room is above our bedroom, last time I did DH kept dreaming a train was coming at him. Guess the sewing machine was making too much noise, LOL!

Spent my early awake time with tea and toast, watched a little TV, fell asleep during one of those loooong commerical breaks and after I finish my cup of coffee I'll be ready to go and sew. May

Hi everyone, I finally got a really good nights sleep last night. Went to sleep around 8:30, my grandson who was spending the night with me, turned my lamp off, and I didn't wake up until 6:30 this morning. I cooked a large roast beef for sandwiches and my daughters, one son-in-law, grandson in-law, 3 grandsons, 1 girlfriend of a grandson all arrived at different times during the day and all had sandwiches. Have just enough left for one more for a late snack while I watch TV later. It was a good day.
