Drool drool over the white Featherweight, I'd love to have one.
Love all the white in your room and is that a White serger? That is a little work horse... I have a 734D White well over 20 years old. It is still purring along... Love your sewing space, I d love to have that much space all together...

I recently got my own sewing room after having to use the dining room. I love it.

Kids grow up and leave empty spaces. We have a four bedroom home and our older daughter's former bedroom is now my craft room. We left the bed in it so that when we have a lot of guests, there is an extra bedroom but it's mostly for quilting and card making. TV in the armoire keeps me company and I'm going to put in a CD/tape player to listen to my books on tape while I sew. I LOVE IT! Unlike many of the posts here, I don't have a longarm and have only one sewing machine but oh.... my stash multiplies at night (or at least when I go NEAR a fabric store)!

I do now! At the beginning of the year I had been sharing a room with my daughter (very large room) but then my oldest son moved out so she took his room and I got the big room over the garage all to myself! One side is my sewing/quilting area the other side is my scrapbooking/crafting area. I have 3 6ft tables in here and tons of room to spread out. Unfortunately we rent, DH is military and retiring soon which means most likely we'll be seeing a move sometime this summer I can only hope to replace this room the next house we live in LOL I've never had a room to myself before!

When one of my kids left I took over her downstairs bedroom for my cutting room. Have my cutting table down there. When the next one left I used her bedroom to display my baby quilts that I sell. When my son left I took over his room for my sewing room, computer room and desk. I also have one room downstairs that I have nothing in except my quilting frame where I do all my hand quilting.
