If I had to choose only 4 notions that I can't live without they would be:
1. my Machingers gloves for quilting
2. my small tomato pincushion with adhesive on the bottom. I attached the pincushion to the top of my machine and I can find & use it without even looking up from my sewing
3. my binding clips that look like the pop-open hair clips...they save so much time
4. my Kwik Clip tool for placing quilting pins
Isn't it great when you've bought an item and it really DOES work well?

The otion that does not work for me is the needle threader, I think by clover. Other poeple have had success with it, but I have had two and neither one has worked for me.
One other notion is Omnigrid yellow marked rulers, they give me a headache because they are too busy for me. I just bought the frosted rulers and love them.
Also I have bought several marking pencils that were recommended, didn't work for me.

One of my handiest tools is a telescoping rod with a magnet on the end. Great for picking up dropped needles, pins & small tools.

The telescoping rod with magnet was one of my best tools too.

I did get a sidewinder and find that it rarely gets used...It doesn't wind straight for me and if I have to babysit it while it works thats just too much trouble in my book when I'm in the middle of something. Doesn't save me any more time than stopping to wind on my machine.
