I love the bobbin winder --- I use it on the Longarm. That machines winds its bobbins but the needle goes up and down. This is BAD when you're in the middle of a quilt.

A bobbin winder? Is this the thing that winds bobbins for you, rather than using your machine? If so, what kind do you have?

What a great idea!! I knew I was keeping my medicine bottles for something besides storing old needles, before discarding them. I have a bunch of these bottles.

I purchased the tinest Olfa rotary cutter to cut the small pieces of fabric down to 1/4" seam when paper piecing - what a waste. Had a problem with my rulers & the rotary cutter kept catching one it apparently the were too tall for the rotary cutter
    Ended up in the GARBAGE

A purple "Thang" is a purple plastic 4 sided stick with a 1/4 inch wide base. People I know use the bottom 1/4 inch base to help guide fabric pieces under the sewing machine needle. Because the base is the same width as a seam, it is helpful in maintaining a 1/4 inch wide seam. Jodi 100

I know lots of folks like them -- but I don't like my bobbin winder at all.

I like mine but didnt like the jumping around part. I am going to try the weight in it and see if that helps.
