Well you certainly did a cool panel justice. It is just awesome. Will be hart to choose front wfrom back.

EDIT: I think either echo quilting the tree would look very cool on the pieced side or

SITD on the pieced side and the pattern would show on the panel. Either way would be very cool.

    peace

I, like a lot of others, see two quilts. The idea of having the tree as a baby quilt now & turning into a wallhanging later is a great idea. I'd echo the tree a few times & do a filller with the rest of the panel. The twister would look good with a SITD. I'd use either an off white or black print backing on both. I'd use one of the fabrics in the main pattern. Beautiful work.

Our 1st grandchild is 4 months old. When I offered to make a quilt for him, DDL agreed & sent me pictures of the nursery she had in mind. From what I've seen, modern baby quilts are not what you would think of. I think either one of your tops would be awesome for a modern nursery. Unless you have a dyed-in-the-wool traditionalist, check with Mom-to-be & see what she thinks. By the way, congratulations!

Love them both, but really love the tree. I would make 2 quilts.
