    cute idea, I'd go with the longer size, much easier to wrap up a child and not be skimpy

    Adding the pinwheels to the rail fence really makes the block pop. I'm slightly confused - if what you're showing is the block, why would you lose the pinwheels? Just curious. It will be an awesome baby quilt.

    This quilt is wonderful!!!! I love the color and the pinwheel makes it POP! I would go oblong so it can be cherished as a napping quilt for many years to come - how special this is!!!

    You know I just drew this up in EQ7 and think Billi is right - I think it is distracting with incomplete pinwheels. I am adding this to my bucket list, I really like it!

    Like the quilt and the addition of the pin wheel is so much fun but, imho, is that size a bit big for a yearling? I would make it a little smaller so the little could enjoy it more. Just my opinion.
