Thank you for this VQW. I plan to finish the bindings on at least 4 baby quilts for donation and finish the baby quilts that just are tops at the moment. Then try to make some 10-Min blocks and maybe 5-Min ones also (I just learned about them.). Then cut up some more scraps into squares.

Happy quilting, y'all and have fun!

I'm in! Making my husband homemade potato salad and a cake for his birthday and then hanging in my sewing room on this hot weekend. Making someone who is moving to Florida a tote (it's flamingo fabric) and working on a baby quilt due July 28th

Forgot to mention I am also figuring out what lap quilt I will make for this year's Honor Flight. This was last year's quilt before I sewed the down.

Well, Judith1005 talked me into joining. I haven't joined in on VQ in ages. I find I spend too much time reading what others are doing and not enough time sewing. Yesterday I finished up making a queen size Patriotic quilt out of a jelly roll and layer cake I just want to be rid of. So it is bound and on the bed. My present project is to make Log Cabin blocks using the Creative Grids 12" log cabin ruler. It is to be another stash buster. I have way too much Sturbridge left from another quilt I made a couple years ago. This year my lofty goals are to challenge myself, either to do something out of the box for me, or to use up some of my vast stash of fabric and precuts. So this challenge is to use the log cabin ruler that has never been used.

My Scrappy Hunter Star Blocks set up to sew, sew, sew. All of these blocks were paired with a coordinating colored fabric. I took them apart and paired them with WOW or white with a very light print. I need a big contrast in these blocks for the next pattern I want to make with these blocks.

And, here is project number 2. Finish embroidering mermaid block for my Summertime I Swap Block quilt. This top is very close to being ready to go to the quilter. This is the last block to finish.

I found out yesterday that I'm getting my new rescue dachshund today! Probably not much sewing but maybe he'd like to hang out with me in there for a while.

I decided to get the latest quilt loaded on the longarm (Bob) so I can have that quilting while I am working on the log cabin blocks. This quilt is made with snowball blocks alternated with 9 patches, the collection is Walking on Sunshine. The backing is more pansies with a panel in the center. This is another of my stashbusters, something that has been waiting for the right moment. And that moment is now. If I can remember how to post pics I will post some.
