So sorry to hear that this happened. My thoughts & prayers are being sent to your cousin for the upcoming surgery. You both need to file a report with the police depts. I hope you took photos of it.

I am sorry this happened to you. Perhaps if it was recieved at the address where you sent it, and it was the wrong address, you might try writting the resident at that old address to try to track the quilt down. I hope you get it back.

Just reading all these caring people trying to help Makes me feel there is still a lot of good in the world. I hope you soon have a line on your quilt.

I'm sick with you, I would feel the same way if it happened to me. I would only hope that wherever it is, it is being utilized and is at least bringing comfort and warmth to someone who needs it or to someone the "steeler" thought would need it. Maybe it will still turn up somewhere, maybe check craigslist or other selling avenues in that area to see if it might be up for sale. Just a thought.

I am so sad for you. Hopefully the quilt will turn up in the next day or two. I pray your cousin does well!

    Rot in hell? Really?

I had a situation recently where some work I did was not delivered to the right address. The UPS driver said he "left it at the door"... just didn't say WHICH door. Not the door I addressed it to. Who knows where it ended up but it's never been found. At least I can used more fabric and remake the item. A human soul, lost to hell, is of infinitely greater value. No one is above making a mistake.

Last August the quilt I sent my GGD got mis-delivered. It showed up on my GD doorstep ten days later!! That was Sara's Happy Quilt! I'm telling you it was because so many of these quilters said prayers for me!! Now we will pray for you and a speedy recovery for your family member!!!
