    Sewingitalltogether -

I also have this pattern and kit - going to get to it - one of these days! Your quilt is absolutely fabulous. This past weekend my smaller guild had a quilt show and one of the vendors had a quilt made with this pattern but with completely different colors. They used old fashioned (sort of) soft reds, etc. I didn't even notice that it was this pattern till,I asked about it and took several more looks. It's amazing how different, but still beautiful,it is. The vendor said he had also seen it done in blues. I love the original colors (and that's what my kit has) but it's totally terrific in other combinations, too.

    Thank you for your picture,
    Sandy in Mooresville, NC

    Sharon,
I used a 0.1 brown pigma pen and traced the pattern with a light box. It went quick as did the embroidery. I really enjoyed making it.

Very nicely done. I've got the pattern and I've been trying to figure out a way to transfer it without tracing it directly on the fabric.

Beautiful job! That one's on my "to-do" list - - I think you just inspired me to get on it!
