Just curious why "organic" vinegar? I remember my mother doing the vinegar and water every morning of many years, but she never had organic. How does it make a difference?

I like the way you think, on both counts!

I think one of the reasons I've failed so many times is that I try to go all or nothing. I usually end up with the nothing, so this time, we're trying it slower.

I thought about setting this rule for myself last night: instead of no dessert, I can have it **if** I did my workout that day.

Double incentive, lol.

And I need to set a mini-goal for myself, too. Hmmm...

I have a shake weight too. If you don't want to spend money cans of beans work well to start to tone. Each can weighs about a pound and that's great to start with if you've never lifted weights before.

April - welcome on the journey! Take it slow at first! I make my mini goals of 5 pounds and so far so good for me. Whenever you need encouragement or want to talk just stop on by!

how many years ago was that? Things are so filtered now that the important part of it is no longer in it. if you look at vinegar in the grocery store it is clear, organic with what is called the mother is cloudy with sediment on the botton.

I didn't do so good yesterday. I forgot breakfast and lunch and all the snacks. By tea time I was too grouchy to get to it. When dinner was finally ready at 8:00 pm, I felt sick. I ate 3 servings of lazagne and about 8 pi eces of fudge. I really need to do this different.

So...I am off to make my protein shake with frozen strawberries and yogurt. Have to tell my body it is time to turn on. That is what my nutritionist says. Breakfast is the way your body knows it is supposed to start burning calories again. Glad to see everyone up and about this morning. I get to start Silver Sneakers next Monday. Can't wait. Hope my shoes get here by then.

My exercise is done for the day. I went grocery shopping. I don't take my time I run thru the stores. 2 stores, $300.00 all in 1 hour. The stores are across town from each other. By the time I got everything inside my legs felt like jelly. Put it all away now my arms and back are tired. I would say that was a good workout.
