Nope, no cure. I dream of new applique quilts and quilt designs. I have to get up and write them down or I forget them. Only cure is to keep quilting, but I don't think it ever gets out of our system! LOL I just keep telling myself, there are worse addictions to have.

Kathy, If you achieve the result you want with printing the colors of your chickens on fabric, let me know, I'd buy some fabric from you. Eiltcoq.

Not scary, just give in to you inner quilter/artist. I like to think that what is happening to quilters/artists in how they see things is really a set up/ahead in our evolution. You look at the DNA thread, it's really a quilt waiting to happen. There problem solved, you're not ill, just talented.

I like to applique & any shape will do. While watching HSN or QVC when they have hanging Oriental or other type rugs, or other channels, I look for quilts or anything with patterns. Hate trying to take a nap in the daytime & all I can do is look at the ceiling of a tiled room & count the # of tiles, esp if there are holes or patterns & think how many rows I can get out of a yard of fabric going up or down, it gets crazy. While driving by yards with lots of colorful flowers, I see abstract designs & think painting or quilts. Colors & designs are everywhere, esp if you take the time to look. I enjoy rows & rows of flowers, esp when they are at an angle to me, think that would be a great design for quilt patterns or fabric. Endless..........

I was in an airport in New Mexico one time and saw a pattern in the carpet beneath my feet. I was discussing it with my children, who know I have quilt fever. Before long I saw other passengers looking at the floor too. Just too funny.
