Sorry Boopers, I actually didn't expect to get it, I'd bid on others and they all went for over $300. I put in the bid just cause I knew I would never remember to look on Sunday when it was done. But, I am very HAPPY, I been looking for one!

Wow, it does look like a clone of the 99K. If it is, you should be able to get a bobbin slide plate to fit that machine with no problem. Of course maybe, the slide plate is there just not on the machine?

Thanks! The bobbin slide plate is missing, any info on where to get it and what type needle would be greatly appreciated.

The cool thing about the Bantam is they are so LIGHTWEIGHT!! You can pick that puppy up with one hand and wave it around. I have had a couple of them, mainly because I wanted a light-weight handcrank. I found out (unfortunately) that the repro HC's do not work on these. (The repro wheels don't either, but they can be ground out so they will fit.) This summer, a GF and I spent a LOT of time trying to get the repro parts to work. I finally wound up giving one of my machines to a fellow collector who's also a machinist, and he is in the process of working out an adapter for the crank. More than you wanted to know, right??

A regular 15 x 1 needle, and I THINK a 99 slide plate will work. (Reproductions of those are available as well.)

Thank you, Billy! I have it all cleaned and oiled and the 347 runs very nicely. It does make a great stitch. This one has the zig-zag capability as you slide the stitch lever from 0 - 4. The top is plastic but the machine is metal. I have a problem with the handle on the case. The leather has basically disintegrated and it's breaking into pieces. Any ideas as to how to replace this? I know there is always lots of talk about the needles for some of the older machines. Look at this display item. Just neat looking.

I bought needles for my treadle (which is not yet restored) from a display just like this in a little antique shop in Texas. The display had plenty of needles in it.

I have several of these, but I guarantee you I didn't pay that much for any of mine!! I also have some different styles, including one mounted on a box and this double one (well, it's sort of mine!) about half way down the page:
