I'd better start by saying I'm retired :D DH took over the cooking & food shopping when HE retired, giving me plenty of time for quilting  When I'm not quilting, planning my quilting, shopping for quilting, or reading about quilting, I'm:

Hi,
Well I am cleaning house, laundry, running errands etc.
I like to make other crafts: crochet, some knitting, painting, spinning, weaving etc.
I love to collect old cookbooks and always looking at the recipes.

Loved reading all the answers to this question and so many of us have other things in common.
Besides the daily housework with 2 young babies, I like to garden, scrapbook, read, do genealogy research, camp (I'll be taking my sewing this year), raise chickens (about 300), fish and in general spend time with the kids.
Wish I could hire someone to go the "have to" stuff so I could play with my hobbies.

OK, other than quilting and being on this board...
Work and travel for work - a lot!
Read, travel for fun, shop at quilt stores, go to baseball and golf matches to watch my son, hang out with my DH, host the rest of the gang when home from college, watch baseball and football when in season, spend time at our cabin in Canada.
And of course, the usual housework, errands and all the other mundane tasks that comes with life.

Reading. My husband thinks I have more books than the average library (not counting quilting books). I used to do folk art. I still have lots of supplies but haven't done anything in the last 5 years. Quilting is not as messy - threads on your cloths is better than paint any day.

I love to garden, when the weather is nice. From June through Sept. it will be 95-105 degrees, so after about 8am, being outside is no fun. I love to read, play with my dog, hike, travel, do most things involving a needle and thread, go on bike rides, and most importantly, worship God and read His word, and spend time with my husband and kids, who are now on their own. I am anxiously awaiting grandbabies!!

Besides quilting, I like to read - a lot. I also play bass in a group that plays old country and bluegrass music. We just finished playing at a senior center today. That is always fun. We also do camping at music festivals. Just enjoy being retired.
