Truly, I do not bother too much about house work. I am not saying that I am a slob. In fact I do not like a messy house. That said, I am sure that no one will know one hundred years from now whether or not I dusted every day or made the beds just so. When someone looks at my quilts, I want them to think of nothing else except "oh, how pretty".

That's what I've been doing lately. The owlets are so cute and growing so fast! We can all thank the person who gave us the link to the live web cam and know that it is just temporary since they will leave the nest box some day.

I showed my DH the webcam and he said he saw that all the time growing up in farmland areas, so he's not as interested in it as I am. I grew up in the city, so this is all new to me.

Otherwise, I love planting flowers in the back yard and taking pictures of just about anything. At the beginning of this thread, Boston mentioned noticing quilts in movies lately; it's fun to look for them in movies! :D

I like reading, cross stitching and horse riding (I don't unfortunately own my own horse yet, but am hoping to one day).

I also like watching movies and TV drama series - I particularly like a lot of the American dramas that have come over here in the last few years from channels like HBO, FX and Showtime. Finally, I also enjoy playing the odd computer game when I can.

I'm thinking about picking up some knitting again, but not until I have a few less projects on my plate. Up until fairly recently, I did some drawing and painting too, but I've mostly fallen away from that.

Unfortunately, I find I have too many things I'd like to do, and not enough time to do them in! If only I didn't have to work.. :p

You know that is almost exactly what my Mom used to say when she was in her sixties and seventies ( Mom has been gone over 20 years now), but she used to say "When I am gone is anyone going to care about how clean my house is? Or are they going to remember the person I was?"
