Don't forget Keepsake is in NH, and will all the snow storms trucks may take a little longer, the shop may have been closed an extra day. We have had 6 snowstorms in January alone. Our snow total for the year (so far) in 61 inches, about double or more of a total season average.

THANK YOU!!!!! I am so glad I'm not the only one who feels this way!!!!! I ordered some fabric through Keepsake Quilting on the 5th of January and it took until the 15th to get to me. I thought it might be because of the New Year. I'm going to try again to see if it happens again.

Wow! This totally surprises me! I shopped in that store this past summer while on vacation in Tawas, and they were very friendly and efficient. Although the store was quite busy the day I was there, everyone was helped in a friendly, timely manner. I am sorry you had this difficulty and I hope they fulfill your order soon.

Definitely!!! Wow. I would be so disappointed as well. There are so many great quilt shops online with amazing service. I sometimes have fabric I order in 3 days including processing! I would definitely not order from them again when there are so many other options. Just my two cents. :)

I am so used to quick shipping that I know I would be disappointed, too. Just remember to never buy from them again. They could be a delightful shop in person but the internet age has passed them by. :0)

So sorry you have to go through this. Now we all know where NOT to buy fabric There must be a reputable (SP?) place you can find your fabric. Equilter.com. Fabric Shack.com Fat Quartershop.com, hancockfabric.com. Just a few suggestions.

there was a time when waiting 6 to 8 weeks to receive an order was the norm.

whether or not it's illegal to charge before shipping might vary from state to state. i'm not a cop, a lawyer, or a professional consumer advocate, so i won't throw an opinion around about that. i suspect, however, that it is not illegal. it's a common practice among ebay vendors (for example).

our our demands and expectations as online consumers have gotten unrealistic. instead of enjoying the super-fast arrivals, we are outraged by a wait of more than a few days. we throw hissy fits at the least inconvenience and smallest mistake.

we hop online and trash a business without giving them a fair chance to make things right.

unless you've never made a mistake in your whole life, it might be helpful to remember that we all goof up sometimes. howzabout stepping back, examining all the facts, and keeping it in proper perspective.
