Oh my gosh! I finally got a chance to go to my 2 volunteer places this week and they had fabric for me! I haven't dug through the boxes/bags yet to see what's in them, but I usually get pieces smaller than 5", some novelty fabric, and someone's donated orphan blocks from my church group along with some fabric that I donate to my other group. My group that donates to needy babies usually gives me pieces that are too small for an 8" block or fabric they don't like for baby quilts. .
At least, I didn't buy any of it! Lol!
The small box in the back is an old serger that I will see if it works. It was also donated.

That will take a while, Connie...when I get a "haul"...seldom as big as yours...I get it sorted and then have to get the sorts all in their prospective spots...that's the point I struggle with...I have piles of sorted fabrics..yikes...
At least the bigger pieces will yield quilts faster!
This little mini came all from my precut bin of 5/8"...I gave it to a dear quilting friend for her new living quarters at a retirement home. By sewing a magnet to the back she can hang it on her steel entry door.

Oksewglad: Cute mini and what a great idea to put a magnet on the back!
I know what you mean about getting the sorted piles in the right spots! I have mine divided for church quilting and Bundles of Love. I do use some of the church donated fabric for Bundles because our church leader just wants it out of her house and used wherever! . Most of the tub fabric will be re-donated.

In June have had these successes.
At favorite LQS, droulled only, no purchases
Went to Joann's, check out line was too long, left it behind
At Joann's again, time for store to close, left it behind
Another LQS, no droulling required.
If I learn to spell, maybe this could be read.

I just had the most awful weekend camping with the inlaws. There is a possibility of a soul-soothing exemption in the wings. (We do have a soul-soothing exemption, don't we? lol)
