    First off, that quilt is gorgeous and you did a great job.

    That quilt is very beautiful because you put yourself - your time, your thought, your effort and your intention and your love - into it. No friend can ask more than that. Be proud and recognize that the meaning of the quilts usually far surpasses the technical ability most of us have (well, at least for me).

    that's the great thing about making things from love....they'll love it no matter what it looks like. You don't have to worry though as I think it's BEAUTIFUL! No one sees the flaws but you....

    Give it to your friend with confidence. Don't point out any errors you might you have. The quilt is beautiful and if she does not appreciate it, she is too "ticky."
