I will sign up for next month -- I didn't do well this month -- only 2 pounds lost -- but that is better than nothing. Next month is closing up and moving to the west coast so it will be a lot of irregular days. 2 weeks without DH -- he leaves first to open the condo. So I won't have to cook regular meals -- mostly eating up what might freeze, give away condiments, etc to neighbors and donate to the food pantry.

My prayers to all of you who are having such health issues. It is so good to have friends to back you up. I remember when I lost my sight after cataract surgery and didn't have anyone close by to lend me a shoulder.

Happy New Year. what a wonderful time of year it is.

Mim

Jeanne, Ethan's parents have joined Caring Bridge to keep friends and family updated on his condition. One of his medications was causing him to have more seizures so they took him off of it. He also had some kind of upper respiratory infection so they put him on steroids. He was doing so much better; even going outside to play at daycare. When he went off the steroids the seizures returned. HIs struggle continues. Thanks for your continued prayer and concern.

I'm sorry to hear so many have been having a rough month with health issues, I will pray for you guys. I hope that next month brings renewed health for everyone. :-)

Still have another day left, so I'm trying to do my best to keep to my calorie count. It's not been easy this month giving up the sugary snacks, but I have done pretty well for a sugar addict. LOL I plan on having a salad for lunch and some veggie pizza for dinner as a splurge.

Just wanted to say I'm proud of everyone for making a change in their lives and doing their best.

I just came from having a massage. I decided I'd better use my gift certificates before another Christmas gets here. What a lovely feeling to lie on a heated bed and let someone massage your body. I won't sleep under a heated blanket because of the electromagnetic energy, but I am considering using one to prewarm my bed.

My weight was down today. If I can keep it there for a day, I will have met Xylie's 5 pound challenge. Woohoo!

Food: good, exercise: good, water: not good, energy: down. I think it's the weather. Cold and rainy today with 40 mph winds in the forecast.

Wishing all of us a happy, healthy day. I am losing weight and getting healthier.

Mim, do you mind me asking where in Washington you will be? We hope to be on the Long Beach Peninsula this time next year. I LUV the rainy season up there. If we get a motor home, we hope to land back in Ocean Park. From there, we can walk to the beach several times daily. mmm, heaven.
