Beautiful blocks, Klaws and Lstew. Lots of eye candy this morning. Thank you Klaws for my two lovely blocks. I love them!

My walking foot was very noisy. After oiling it quieted down.

Thanks all for the love! Reba, Romancing the Stone is my FAVORITE movie of all time. I wonder if that is where my desire to live on a sailboat started?!

Great blocks everyone. The basement remodel continues, so my sewing room is once again all packed up. This time for probably a while as we are turning the basement into an apartment. I need to carve out a sewing corner somewhere in the rest of the house. It will be good preparation for a sewing space on a sailboat!

My walking foot worked great although it does get a little squeaky when I’ve run it for a while. A well placed drop of oil does the trick. Lots of people have complained about this walking foot but mine works great.

Did you see that the Featherweight shop has the hand crank for the featherweight available again? And it doesn't look too hard to install. Just in case you lose electricity on the boat........you can still sew LOL.

Oh my I had quite a fright this morning. Had text from my oldest dd saying the power was out and tornado sirens had been going off for 15 minutes. Then no contact for a couple of hours. My mind went back to when she was in an earthquake in California and the scare of her wandering the streets till she found a shelter for the misplaced but we were able to stay in contact via cell phone. One of her friends finally contacted us and said she was ok and that the internet in her area was out.

Terri, am happy to hear your dd is well. Must have been nerve wracking while waiting to hear back from her.
