I worry about lots of things lately.

I also worry that when I am sewing or quilting that I am not doing it correctly.

Worrying about stuff is like riding a rocking chair, it gives you something to do but doesn't get you anywhere. If you find yourself spending lots of time worrying one way you can get over it is to designate a chair the "worry chair" and you're only allowed to worry if your sitting in that chair. If you find yourself worrying in some other spot in the house go immediately to the worry chair. It doesn't take long before you find the time spent in the worry chair really could be better spent doing something constructive and useful.

I didn't use to be and now its an every day struggle. I struggled to let my son have a normal kids life. He was only 8 when his sister and cousin were murdered. I didn't want to let him out of my site. Hes almost 19 now (July5th) and its still hard. I don't know what I'll do when he moves out! I'm that way with the girls too, but for some reason worse with him. I always thought I was just paranoid for good reason. But thinking about it I worry about wayyyy too much!

I'm the one that looks for the silver lining, no matter what the situation. I am also the one at work that keeps a supply of chocolate on hand for everyone. I work in a small office with a staff of 7 women. Yup...we need chocolate every now and then. LOL

I seriously try not to be and usually succeed. When I was 45, pregnant and had 7 high risk factors my best friend said, "You enjoy being pregnant since it will be your only time to do so. I'll do the worrying for you. Besides, you aren't good at it and I am." So that's what we did. I enjoyed, she worried, dd grew, everything was okay. I worry more now that I have a child than I ever did before.
