So I've gotten this far with the Lone Star and would like to make it bigger. I was thinking a 10" border on two sides (and a 5" border on the other two sides). I would applique a type of swag or ribbon on the borders and would then need to add something to go along with the swag. I don't necessarily want to do more stars on the borders. Thoughts from all my creative quilting friends?? :)

http://www.quilterscache.com/B/Borders.html

Quilterscache has several borders that I would love to use on some of my quilts. I usually just go with plain borders, but I love some of these.

I like the quilting radiating out from the star. Beautiful. You make good choices, go with what you see

I have seen the lone Star with a border around it with a vine and applique flowers that looked quite lovely.. what technique do you favor?

I did the curling ribbon on one of my quilts, it really gave it some pizzazz, BTW I adore your quilt.

Oh thank you so much! I never thought of anything else but flying geese now I have more options. Bless you in your sewing.

Once the swags are on, it will give a whole different perspective. Can you show it then?
