Default Ta-Done!!

Thanks, Judy for making the first clue's directions so clear and finally the 4 1/2 squares are ending up the way they should. WOO-HOO!! Thanks, Kassaundra, White Pine, and Emma S., with the blue suggestion. It's what I was thinking, but always 2nd guess myself with color choices. So here they are: TA-DONE!! Now off to find some of those treats to munch!
happylab love both of your choices, but am drooling over the blue Oriental. Is that a Robert Kaufmann?

The fabric is a Kona Bay Fabrics, 2006 Design: SUZU-03 website www.konabay.com. As you can see I 've had the fabric for awhile. I found it in my stash and decided to us it for this mystery. I only have a yard, so I'll see how large it gets. Adding a purple border may enlarge the top some. I'll make that decision later.

EMMA, when you make a king size quilt, how many 12" blocks do you make?

Thanks, Lynnie, it is hand colored with crayons, heat set, and hand embroidered. Pattern was from Crabapple Hill -- they have fabulous hand embroidery patterns

Those look great, coopah, bright and cheerful.

MaryO - oh so beautiful, elegant, gorgeous ... get my meaning, need I say more?

happy lab I know you asked Emma but when I make a king with 12-1/2" blocks, I use 63 blocks, 7 x 9 and it hangs almost to the floor on the sides and the end, and comes up to the pillows as I don't make them long enough to cover the pillow. I round off the edge, then add the border so the corner doesn't brag on the floor. Does anyone else make them oversized like this? My mattress is the regular thickness, not 18" deep. I do them like this so don't have to use a bed skirt, they are such a pain for me to keep where they belong!

I am still on the train but having just celebrated Father's Day here in Australia yesterday and a full day being "grandma" today I have not yet put rotary cutter to fabric.

I am hoping that I can make a start tomorrow. Love looking at everyone else's fabrics. I have to confess that I have made a change to one of my fabrics.
