I was working on the flower basket, block 4 and I tried to machine applique it, and it was a mess! Then when I pulled the stitches back out, it left huge holes!

Grrr....I'm going to make a new one and HAND APPLIQUE this one!

I just finished my basket too although I still need to applique the handle. I am hand piecing mine and wonder how all of you machine piecers can be that accurate with those tiny pieces. I'm impressed.

Well, I finished my basket by hand applique. I am in total admiration of any of you who are hand piecing these tiny pieces. Mutual admiration society? :)

I think I missed something. Where does it tell us which blocks we are doing for what week? I think we have 3 different threads going now but I don't understand which one tells us which blocks to do.
    Thanks.

On the BOM topics, above this thread, is "A Farmers Wife Sampler Quilt - A Long Forum". That has the info. you want; toward the bottom of what Muriel is saying is all about what blocks are being worked on. FYI, this week, through Tuesday, Aug. 10, we are working on #1 & #2.

But any forum that reaches 85+ pages is a LONG forum--you were being pro-active in naming it!
