    Best of luck, QNS...prayers for a successful procedure.

    Heading out tomorrow for an overnight. I lost a cousin to cancer this week.

    I understand there is no mail service in Houston. So many people have lost their IDs, birth certificates, etc. besides all their other stuff. What a mess...

    Oh gosh, OK, that is happening to me too. I lost 3 aunt's/uncles in one year. It seems to run in three's. I don't have any grandparents, parents, aunts or uncles left on either side of my family. Actually I am the matriarch of my dad's side of the family at the age of 75! I am 7 years old than my brother, and all my other cousins on my dad's side. I was born before the war.

    So sorry for your loss, OK...

    I'm waiting for news from the relatives in LA. The storm was supposed to be right over them last night by midnight. I hope it wasn't too bad. It's passing through MS tomorrow, tho it's been raining for three days here already, and it's heading up to Memphis Friday. When with this awful thing die out?!

    So terrible for Houston and other cities to be under water.

    Sounds like the year for Herricanes hitting the USA' I hope Imra will turn back into the ocean and not make land fall. Hope all is well with everyone... and their families.

    OK, looking forward to a picture of your new border collie pup,

    I am canning grape juice and some jell....counting the days until I can see again. Dh iselping a lot while fighting to keep his blood sugars down. Dr. gave him a form of Actos and he cannot take it...went into a bad spell reaction from it Sunday while his cousin and wife was here playing cards. He has s topped taking it. Whew! Take care everyone and happy quilting!
