Beautiful photo Anael, a nice place to sit in the garden and enjoy a cup of tea and a biscuit

QNS that billboard made me smile thank you for sharing and also your February blocks are beautiful.

No snow here and no cyclone, fizzled out again, you would think the weather forecasters could be a little more on the mark instead of creating confusion. We get all the news reports telling us to get ready.

QuiltE so glad you had a nice birthday, just as well you didn't hear my singing, sounds like someone has stepped on the cats tail

Just finished sewing the binding on so tonight it is handsewing in front of the tv, good movie on tonight "Remember the Titans" which I love, so that has me sorted.

Will post a pic tomorrow but this is what I started last night, DD wants a hat and scarf for the cooler weather, the colour is off it is a really pretty purple, might just sit on the verandah this afternoon and knit

Mirabelle, that is a beautiful color of yarn...is the scarf and hat going to be the same color and design? Interesting to see what design you use for the hat.

Up to 45 degrees today. Working on Dear Jane today for a change of pace. Have a good day.

Lots of catching up to do, but wanted to share what I got done at my retreat this weekend. I also started sashing my MBs. Not *my* colors, but makes me smile.

Yes indeed, CarrieM ... that one sure does bring SMILES! Looks like you had a great weekend, with that quilt all finished! Looks like it was a fun pattern to work on too.

Anael, Look at your SweetLittleMissy, ever the fashionista with her mini skirt, shoes with pink bows ... and even a fur coat! Sew Sweet for sure!! I'm as green as that grass with envy of your weather!

First: up date on #1DSon & his DFIL. #1DSon is gittin' by on Tylenol & no pain pills. His DFIL comes home tamarrow. It just blows my mind about such a major surgery & both home so fast!

Taday was so nice! No wind nor dust, & temps in the upper 60's. DH & I played outside all day. He fixed the back gate so the dogs won't git out. We can take that part o' the electric fence down now. OK, only 1 dog would git out, the other one would cry & howl because she was separated from the first one.
Next we planted Cannas. We have a Canna bed here already but the dogs had dug some o' 'em up. The Cannas that are here are a kinda dwarf species. Since the dogs dug up the ones that are in the back we planted taller ones behind the dwarf ones. I think they will be quite lovely this way. They are right under my sewin' room window & will be so purdy ta see when I'm in there. We mulched 'em also. DH is a veggie planter, but has recently taken an interest in flowers & Cannas are a favorite o' his.
We moved some o' DH's stuff that was at the side o' the house & put it behind the storage shed. It was all on saw horses so we moved the saw horses too. Now when we git ready ta plant over there that chore is outta the way. We are talkin' about plantin tomatoes on one side o' the sidewalk & Irises on the other side. I'm really hopein' that there is enough sun over there for the tomatoes.
DH & I were talkin' about where we wanted ta put more mulch & he said let's go ta Ace real quick. Well when we got there he didn't buy more mulch. He bought the patio table & chairs that I had looked at when we had been there earlier. Most o' the rest o' the day was spent puttin' 'em tagether. After that he fixed hamburgers on the grill & we ate on the new table. It was so nice. Now it would have been better if the day hadn't been so short! I hate changin' my clocks. Especially my internal clock, which is already messed up!
