The world is so busy as our lives everyday....Try YOUR BEST to be with POSITIVE people for they bring you a positive day. I love to uplift people...I work at a Bank as the main Drive Thru teller...I try to be uplifing to EVERYONE of my customers...they always see a smile...NO MATTER WHAT...my mom is being taken care of by my sister and HOSPICE...but I put on a Happy Face for I know that is what I NEED TO DO and what my Mother would want. PM me and I will send you a writing I made a few years ago about "MY BRAND NEW DAY". It will change the way you look...anyone wants one PM me and I will send one to you...HAVE A GREAT DAY AND GOD BLESS.....SMILE AND THE WORLD SMILES WITH YOU...frown and you frown alone...

Every morning when I get up I make a choice of what kind of day I am going to have. I can not control other people but I can control my reaction to them. Not that I don't have bad days, we all do but I try not to inflict them on other people. I have great family and friends that I can lean on when I need to. I have a neighbor that when you ask how she is you get a long list of gripes. I sometime wonder if she really knows how she sounds or if it is just a habit.

The way I see it is, being happy is a choice we make every morning when we get up. Waking up to another day the Lord has given us is reason enough for anyone to be Happy! We are all TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED no matter what our situation in life. We can always look around and see someone worse off than we are! Smile, God loves you!!

Also, being cheerful is easier, even I have the reputation of being the "Mean One" in the office (bookkeeper so I tell everyone No)...makes them worried if I am cheerful, lol... soooo much fun!
That reminds me of a saying: Smile- it makes everybody wonder what you're up to!! lolOriginally Posted by moonwork42029

I don't like watching the news for that very reason, they lie about things getting better. We can see whats happening and have minds of our own to draw our own conclusions. Just remember: God is still in control!!Originally Posted by pkary
I'd say contented with frequent bursts of real happiness. This ecconomy has everyone in the dumps for now and no matter how much the reporters tell us everything is improving, everyone we know who lost their job is still looking for new work. I try to make allowances for the glum faces on friends with real problems to deal with.

Life is way too short to be unhappy or moody. Even if things aren't going my way, it could always be worse. As my mom would always say, ok, now whats a good thing?
