It depends on what they have been up to at a particular moment in time! LOL!

Charley26 You actually can command a cat. I do it all the time. They are just as easy to train as dogs but I find people never bother to train because they assume cats can't be

Oh we love our dogs! We've been fortunate to have never lost a dog before 12 1/2 years...so we haven't had very many. Right now we have Mia (a 6 year old yellow Lab) and Claire a 5 year old Catahoula mix (she was a rescue)... and together they are "the girls"... They respond to "Girls, let's go out" or wherever we're headed. They play together and nap together and warm my feet together while I'm quilting! Well, Mia warms my feet...Claire heads for the ONE chair in the house they can occupy! Love my girls!!

I work one day every week or two as receptionist at a veterinary clinic...I found a small panel that I'm going to make for the clinic as a small wall hanging...it says "Dogs have owners; cats have staffs!" And it is SO TRUE at our clinic!! hahahaha!!!

I refer to dogs as dogs and cats as cats. My friend has cats that she adores but whose names I can never remember so I call them her fur babies as she babies them a LOT! I refer to my dog by her name but sometimes I call her pretty girl and sweetie.
