Default What Food is the Most Tempting When You Are Dieting?

I started a diet two weeks before Thanksgiving and have lost 14 pounds so far. If I hadn't started then, I would have gained 14 pounds instead.

My office is right outside of the kitchen door where they put all of the goodies that clients and vendors give to us. I have to see it every time I leave the office for anything. The smell is torture. I gave in to temptation yesterday and ate some candy, cookies, cheese, and salami. At least I didn't continue eating off of the diet when I got home.

I've decided that the cookies are the most dangerous. They taste so good and are easy to grab and consume quickly.

New mottos: If it tastes good, spit it out... and healthy eating requires time to prepare and chew.

I don't diet but try to eat healthy foods instead. I would say my greatest weakness are carbs.

Don't disrepair, many dieters strive to keep a constant weight through the holidays, so you should be celebrating your achievement! Best wishes on your voyage to the new and healthier you.

    The kind that we eat....:-0

You lost weight over the holidays that ia a giant win for you! When I am really watching what I eat I stay away from processed food. I limit them all the time but when I'm going for weight loss I eliminate them so of course that is what I want.

My weakness is bread - biscuits, muffins, bagels . . . and cake is a form of bread, too.

I normally do the 'no flour/no sugar' thing. Works for me and I was very successful losing alot of weight following that plan. But there are times when you just have to succumb to both/either just to save your sanity. Great job on the weight loss!

Sweets of course, and fried foods, anything not on the diet.
