For me this has been a great summer, I am one of the odd balls that enjoy the heat and humidity. 8-) I am certainly not looking forward to winter.

We have had record breaking 100+ for the past 3 days, with at least 2 more expected. No rain (at least at our house) for over 2 weeks. No bike riding for me for a while.

Here in Arkansas we have been at 11 straight days now with temps above 100 degrees. Ugh! Enough already!

Our temp. got up to 100 today, tomorrow is to be a little warmer. It's suppose to cool down to 90 for Thurs. and Fri.
Our humidity is lower than usual, it goes up at night and as the heat goes up it goes down. We use to always have high temp.s and high humidity.
I have never liked hot weather, was raised in central Il. and believe me it was just like here, seems it did cool down in Sept.

Here in N Florida we have had 26 out of the last 28 days with temps above 90. Was a 100 today, right now at 9pm it is 82 with 88% humidity. Thunder storms off & on, about 1" of rain in last three days. Cools off, but then gets hot again when clouds move on. Being a transplant from Alaska, I just keep saying "I DON'T HAVE TO SHOVEL IT"

We're about 10 miles from the coast which keeps us cool in the summer and warm in the winter. We have the most temperate climate in the nation in our county.

LOL! I'm in Florida. Hot AND muggy all summer long. Not just this one. Remember when we were all complaining about the frigid winter? I think it actually snowed in Florida! Unheard of! It was a really cold winter everywhere. Well, that's over.

Don't forget to hydrate and stay inside and sew. Blast that a/c. It's going to bite into the fabric budget, but we ladies need to be cool.
