I made fleece booties for hubby last year and he love them. I appliqued his nickname on one set. A Scottish terrier on one and a heart on set.

I've been debating whether to make a quilt or wall hanging for son or his gal since their tastes change so often. I was going to make their son a "Cars" quilt but his tastes have changed too.

I don't know that i'll get much Christmas sewing done, I have the quilt show in September for which I want to get a few pieces done, and several baby quilts to make. But I want to make some small gifts, like snap bags, pillowcases, and such, and I have two tops finished for close friends. But my sewing time is extremely limited, and I will be traveling for most of the holiday season and unable to take my machine, so it remains to be seen how much I get done.

I'm making retro aprons (I have a great fabric that has toasters and fridge's on it), cosmetic bags, tissue holders, dog coats, a teddy bear and a baby quilt for a baby that's due at Christmas.

Finishing up another 80 pies. They have a layer of insulbrite and a layer of silver ironing board cover fabric.

Have also just started on the Christmas pot holders. Lots of mug rugs too.

Great ideas, i will do pillowcases for the grandkids, totes with matching tissue holders, table runners, knitted discloths and if i have time matching towels, i was thinking about pot holders as well, everyone can always use the pot holders.

Yes, I have crocheted four "name" doilies for my neighbors for Christmas 2013. I give them something handmade and a goodie every year. None of them sew or crochet or quilt so there are lots of options.
