I have a few, and all have names that start with K because, after the first was Kenny the Kenmore and the second (a 15-91) was Kathryn named for my grandmother, I was "on a roll". And I alternate their names from male to female, like hurricanes, as I acquire them.

    Kenny (Kenmore)
    Kathryn (Singer)
Kyle ( Brother, computerized, gave to my DIL)
    Kelly (Janome)
    Kirk (Brother, mechanical)
Kay (because my DH was tired of my hinting around for two years for this Janome 8200 and he finally said "OK" to ANOTHER MACHINE)
Kenji (my newest Kenmore, my second Kenmore, very muscular; someone on here suggested the name Kenji because it means "second son" in Japanese)

In general, no, but a vintage Bernina was left to me recently by a friend who passed away. That machine is named Jane, after her. My other machines are the Juki and the Brother.

I have only named two of my machines. My Juki is Brunno and my very old singer that I use for backup is Clara. She hasn't let me down yet.

Mine have names but with the exception of my Featherweights they're rather tongue in cheek. My Featherweights are:
The white one is Elsa, the 1951 Centennial is Lily and the 1935 is Isabelle (Izzy). My Bernina was a "divorce gift" to myself so I named her Diva and my Juki is named Nellie because sometimes she gets going so fast my first thought anyway is "Whoa Nellie!" LOL

Only one of mine that ever got named was The Beast. So cantankerous I set her/him free. Seems I like docile, obedient sewing machines that do what I want, when I want. Haven't ever looked back until now.

My vintage machine is named Cordelia because she's my bosom friend.

Singer 15 hand crank named Black Beauty.
Brother PE770 Embroidery Machine named Myrna, named by my daughter who gave it to me.
Janome Horizon 7700 named Magnolia, because she's all white.
Singer Featherweight named Katie, because I like the name.
Singer One named Bronwyn, because I like the name.

    I also name my automobiles.
You must have a really exceptional memory!

I have four machines (all named) packed away and one out. It is my newest one, very expensive......I named it Baby Brother!

I never had a brother and now I have a Brother, so his name is Baby Brother. He's a sweet machine. Big sister is still learning about him. Edie
