OK - two days later - now I can't find it. So, I am sharing my woe with the only people I know will sympathize with me! The quilt board members. I loved making those appliques in the blocks - lovely flowers made with batiks shaded with purples and lavenders.

So, after about 6 times going thru every shelf and drawer in my sewing room, and looking in lots of other places outside the room, I gave up and turned it over to God. He will put it in my sight!

    So, I am waiting...........!! Patiently.......
I have been there and done that, it will show up.

I embroidered 12 Redwork blocks that I planned to set on point but since that required some thought and planning, I put these blocks in a zip lock bag and put them somewhere in my sewing room.
Looking for these, caused me to straighten and clean out much of my fabric, etc, and still haven't found them.
I guess they will show up someday.

I did that about 2 years ago. was missing for 10 months. found it on my desk in a Barns and Noble bag, that I thought was a magizine. I had never picked up that bag. when I did, I found missing quilt. What was it doing in that bag??? I will never know! good luck, hope you find it sooner.

That happens with more frequency than I care to admit...but things eventually turn up! (Usually!)

When you find it, ask it if it has seen my rotary cutter....

I am no stranger to lost items. It seems I'm always looking for something. Don;t give up. Today I found some blocks for a baby quilt I have hunted 2 years. They were under some material in a plastic tote, upstairs. It is a good thing I was curious about making another quilt, or it would still be there. Now if I can find a quilted one ready to be bound I have been hunting for a year. That's pretty big to lose. It is no doubt in a storage box I haven aprehended yet. Keep looking.

I feel like I have been on a treasure hunt and and am so despondent that I have reached the end of the thread and you have not found the quilt top. Really sounds like my house though. Do you know where the insert for my small pressure cooker is?

You will find it. It is just so weird how that happens. I have misplaced things also. It is so aggravating.
