I made one and added a purple, very dark/plum, and then quilted it with purple thread.

Currently working on a black/white with a splash of red. It is a D9P. Was going to give it away but decided I liked it so well that I'm keeping it for me. That is what I like about quilting, if I like the end product, then can keep it if I want. I'm sometimes selfish that way. But love quilting so will continue to look for new projects to either make for friends or just keep for me.

I just did a black & white for my qreat niece who lives in Arizona. She was just here for a visit and I gave it to her she was thrilled. I did it from Keepsake quilts 2 1/2" strips.

    I still have a stash for two--my daughter's 2 "favorite colors".

I am doing a red, black and white log cabin for my sis. I would post a picture, but, quilting board will not allow me to

I did the "easy jelly roll" quilt for DD out of black and white prints. Used B+W yardage for the border.I wasn't too sure but she wanted no added color. It looked great.

Same DD made a B+W quilt for a friend adding red accent. Was quite stunning.

With all the new black/white fabrics out now some have a splash of red and it really makes the colors bolder.
