Ditto all the above reasons to go. Concerning the drive, gets some books on tape or CD, from the library, and listen to some good stories along the way. The drive will go quickly. Caravan with hubby on way home, stopping periodically together, and have fun!

Split car expense with your friends and it would make the trip even more reasonable. I'd sure find a way to try to make the trip.
Thats what I was thinking. Maybe check with your LQS

I say GO . And heres why......
You will always regret the things you wanted to do and didn't....
Someday you will not physically be able to go...

There are many things I kept putting off for silly reasons and now wish I had done.

Go and enjoy it. You may never have this chance again and could regret not going. Stuff that has to be done will be there when you get back. HAVE FUN!
