I haven't checked out the virtual topics lately, but if there isn't one already, it would be great to have one going just for Scrappies. I believe there's one for Irish Chains, so Scrappies could have their own too. It would be the perfect place to post pictures where they'd all be in one spot. Great for getting inspiration, admiring, drooling, . . . . :-D Anyone know how to get that set up?

Oh I just love your quilts. I make scrappy quilts part of the time. Currently I am working on Seven Sisters, a very small hexagon (3/4") Grandmother's Flower garden and working on a Cathredal Window. My scrap quilts are almost all hand pieced. I hand quilt all my quilts. So I always have tops waiting to be quilted

I just took a peek at the virtual sections. There's one for Irish Chain, one for OBW's, one for Miniature quilts. The description for each says it's for pictures, advice, links, tutorials, patterns, etc. I'm sure lots of room to ooh and ahh.

:-D After reading so many comments on this thread, it would be nice to have a section for Scrappies too. I think folks would find it really helpful and enjoyable. Anyone know how to start it?

I just got back to making scrappy quilts after a comment made by a close friend who said...'when you make a planned fabrics quilt and your friends look at they ooh and aah over your color, pattern and quilting choices. It might be a 5 or 10 minute conversation. But when you make a scrappy quilt your friends do the ooh and aah thing but whenever they look at it there's always something else that catches their eye and they love it all over again.' Like this Trail Mix quilt made from blocks in a swap group. Or my Christmas strip quilt.
I just love scrap quilts all over again.
