Yes, the UFO's were talking to me. As many others, I love to make the tops but don't like the rest. So they sat on a pile that I went through every so often. Then we had a house fire in December and the cleaning people boxed all the UFO's and also my regular sewing things. So until the basement is finished I don't have to listen, because the boxes are piled deep.

I mostly just feel guilty about mine- the cost time already used for them, etc. As a new quilter I have only completed 3 quilts so far- included FMQing, so I have way more ufo's than completed ones. I take a lot of classes through my guild, then when I get home I feel I should finish what I was working on before that. I have a medical issue that only allows me to sit and sew for short periods of time, so I already have a shelf full waiting. I have decided 2 ufo's, then 1 new project for this year. I do have an unfinished handbag from the Sewing Expo 6 years ago that DOES haunt me...I MUST finish that so it's off my mind...it's so cute, too!!!

I also try to stay on this track, I have one grueling UFO over a year old and one quilt partially cut but I need more time away from work ... maybe I'll retire someday and quilt as often as I'd like.
