    I enjoy all colors.

I gravitate toward mauves, golds, browns, and deep reds.
I don't work with many pinks, lime greens, or teals. But then again they do have their place from time to time.

I count 27! This is a good number. I am waiting on 6 from last years swap that I have not heard from either way. Also I plan on leaving this open until we have 35 or Feb 20th.

Also I am trying really hard to get permission to work on a project together. It will be a QAL that will last the whole year. It won't take you a month to make each piece but I will only give you a block each month. Hope that makes sense.

If anyone would like to be the host of a QAL please PM me your ideas. Always up for new projects.

I know you all get worried if I am not on all the time. I do plan on at least every Friday getting caught up with everything on this thread and the PM's. Hopefully I can be on other days to. I am really busy right now. I have 2 part time jobs...one is bookkeeping and Jan/Feb is really busy. But I have been working a lot and almost all finished with the year end projects. (someone tell my boss(es) this. They keep finding more stuff.

Love the chatter between you ladies keep it up! One of the things I like best about this swap is the friendship!

Anoka Quilter, I'll take all the ones you don't want and mail you any I can't use. We are opposite favorite color quilters! : ) I do, however, like deep reds, but pinks, lime greens, and teals are my faves.

These are two of the quilts I used my candy for. The second is the back for the first using larger squares. The third picture is the one I did as therapy after a car accident. It helped since it was totally scrappy!!
Last week I had to go to a specialist for testing. She gave me 16 blocks. there were red sides, white sides, and hst sides. she gave me a picture and told me to replicate it. What fun - and then afterward I told her that it is something I love to do - making quilt blocks!!

Lovely. I like all three/two. I really need to learn how to post pictures. Actually I really need to get my photos off the camera and onto the computer or thumb drive. Then I can share too. Silly me, I am too busy doing what I do at the university to learn how to do a simple task like post a picture. Retirement may be a solution.
