Fickle Michigan is an understatement. Thursday is predicted to have 1 - 3 inches of snow and Saturday in the 60's. But we did choose to live here, right? The flowering trees a beautiful I wish they lasted longer each spring. a week and poof they are all gone. Wonderful memory makers.

We had marble sized hail yesterday afternoon, smashing our blooming azaleas, dogwood, & magnolia. hope they bounce back!

With starting a new job, there won't be time for sewing for a few weeks, but I am already drooling thinking of how to arrange them all. I'm thinking a scrappy Irish Chain. We shall see. How fun it will be to be able to point out special candies from my online friends

Hey Barb, I bought some silk embroidery floss and made it while I was visiting my daughter. (Not a fan of silk but there's a point of no return doing hand work.

Also... April (and my March resend) birthday candy will go out tomorrow. I hope this round is more successful.

Hope you had a great cruise, Chris! And enjoy those birthday candies. I had thought about making a scrappy irish chain with mine, too. Sure would use up a bunch of them.

I'm so glad I went out and took pictures of the flowers when I did... that night a HUGE storm front came in and hard rain fell all evening and overnight, causing flash flooding and even some deaths. I'm sure there weren't many blooms left on the trees after that.

Let me check again when I get home tonight. For some reason I thought I did, but maybe I missed putting your name on the list. I kept them in their envelopes, so I should be able to quickly tell.
